DroneUp’s Advanced Drone Technology Solutions to Complement Volatus’ Cargo Capabilities
TORONTO, ON - January 23, 2025 - Volatus Aerospace Inc., a leader in innovative aerial solutions, has announced a teaming and operations service agreement with DroneUp, LLC, a renowned technology provider in the drone industry. This strategic partnership will allow Volatus to drive a unified commercial offering for common carrier cargo services across North America, leveraging next generation drone technologies and regulatory approvals.
This alliance enhances Volatus' robust cargo capabilities, following its merger with Drone Delivery Canada, by integrating DroneUp’s commercial operating approval in the USA and their advanced technology solutions including:
A certified cargo drone equipped with a winch delivery system, complementing Volatus' Canary delivery drone.
A two-way locker system for autonomous package pickup and delivery. The locker system is climate-controlled and full secured.
Together, Volatus and DroneUp will set new standards in logistics. The partnership aims to streamline drone-based cargo delivery services across North America, utilizing larger drones for beyond visual line of sight operations to enhance service reach and efficiency.
